William (Bill) Lee, Independent Chair
Bill is an experienced entrepreneur with extensive governance and management experience across a wide range of business types, sectors and geographies. Following an executive career that saw Bill lead both start-ups and mature organisations he focuses on governance. Bill holds board roles with Auckland BioSciences, Pastoral Improvements, Southern Cross Truffles, Warmth.NZ and HT Systems.
Dennis Chapman, Director
A lifelong innovator, Dennis founded, grew, and sold two NZ power electronics visionary companies, SwichTec (sold in 1998) and Enatel (sold in 2018). Dennis has been recognised by the Hi-Tech Awards Hall of Fame as a ‘Flying Kiwi’ and was named ‘Master Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2000. He continues to run his own ‘skunkworks’ company – DARC Technologies – focusing on energy R&D and as a board member of the Science Alive Trust.

Head of Operations
James is an experienced energy industry executive, holding roles in the UK and New Zealand markets. James is responsible for manufacturing, market operations, compliance, and service implementation.
Rob Stuart,
Head of Embedded R&D
Rob has over 25 years’ experience in research and design with some of NZ’s most well-known organisations such as Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, PDL and IRL. Rob leads our hardware research and development.
Richard Oswald,
Head of Sales & Business Development
Richard has over 20 years’ executive experience in NZ’s energy industry, having previously founded and operated renewable energy companies and an energy retailer. Responsible for business development, sales and partnership opportunities.
