BUT, the NV33 is more than a meter; it is a grid-edge computer. While competitors offer standard data collection, Nexbe provides real-time edge processing to manage EV charging and solar export at the source.

By extending the function of a typical revenue meter, the NV33 measures, processes and analyzes data at the edge, providing detailed power information and provides in-built load control 100A relays, useful to electricity retailers (and network operators).

This combination of data and control allows new consumer products to be created to allow and incentivise the optimisation of power-hungry items such as electric vehicles, heating and cooling devices and hot water systems.
